One-Acts A Hit at Kennedy Center Staged

SEPTEMBER 5th, 2004, Firebelly
Productions presented staged readings of
David Cahill's one-acts, Conversing Elevens
and Dunce, to a jam-packed crowd
of over one hundred people in the Kennedy Center's
South Atrium Foyer. This if the first
time Firebelly had participated in the Kennedy
Center's Prelude Festival. The plays
were extremely well received, particularly
the comedic Elevens, and an audience
requested talkback, featuring the cast,
director, producers, and author, occurred
after the performances. During this
talkback details of the two one-acts were
discussed, and Firebelly took the opportunity
to announce that Conversing Elevens would be produced
fully for their upcomming 2005 Spring production,
Two on the Run, Two on the Road.
In June 2005, Firebelly will take
Conversing Elevens to Hong Kong,
participating in the annual Faust Festival
2005.
